“The River”
New Centricity artist and songwriter, Jordan Feliz has quickly found his groove in CCM, as his debut single, “The River,” has become a multi-week #1 hit at NCA for ten weeks and CHR for seven weeks. Jordan explained in a recent interview with Hallels.com just after the release of his first CCM album, Beloved: “The River” stems from John 7:38: “Whoever believes in Me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” The song is truly an invitation to everyone. To the person who feels they have lived their life by the book, or to the person who feels they have so much baggage and are ashamed to take it to Jesus. It’s the opportunity to go down in amazing grace and to rise up, being made new.”
