Jordan Feliz

About Jordan Feliz:

From working a valet parking booth and being an Uber driver to performing before thousands of fans, Jordan Feliz’s life has been unpredictable, to say the least. After moving from the West Coast to Nashville in 2012, Feliz eventually earned a record deal with Centricity Music in 2014. Since the debut of his single “The River” in 2015, Feliz has established himself as one of the Contemporary Christian Music genre’s most dynamic and engaging performers. “The River” went on to spend 12 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s NCA Chart, along with winning the ASCAP Christian Music Song of the Year Award and becoming certified Gold by the RIAA (500,000 units sold). After his first album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart, Feliz went on to win New Artist of the Year at the 2016 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. His sophomore album hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart and produced Feliz’s second #1 radio hit, “Witness” (co-written by Paul Duncan).

Feliz’s latest album, Say It, which released at the very end of 2020, is dear to Jordan’s heart, as the songs express what’s been going on in his mind, heart and life with an array of emotions the past couple of years…

“Before we started working on new music, I started asking the Lord to give me something to say, and I felt like He just said, ‘Say everything that’s on your heart. Say everything that you’ve been through. Be as vulnerable as possible. Tell the world the thing that you’re terrified to tell the world,’” Feliz says. “I think sometimes the things you’re scared to bring to people are most likely the most impactful.”

So Feliz did the scary thing. He wrote from real life experience. He set his struggles to melody, and Say It became a testament to the way God had reached down and pulled him out of a difficult period. Although the previous season might have been shrouded in darkness and confusion, sonically, Say It is full of vibrant light and clear direction.

Co-produced by Feliz’s longtime collaborator Colby Wedgeworth and Jordan Mohilowski, his latest studio effort serves up a healthy blend of pop, Gospel and soul and offers some of Feliz’s most transparent lyrics to date. “Glorify” was the first radio single off of the new album. Two additional recordings of the song were released – one featuring TobyMac & Terrian, and the other, Lecrae & Hulvey. Jordan’s second radio single from Say It, “Next To Me,” peaked in the Top 10.

In addition to headlining, Feliz has taken part in high profile tours such as Winter Jam, for KING & COUNTRY, Michael W. Smith, TobyMac, and Matthew West. In 2017 Feliz was given the prestigious opportunity to record at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, as part of its 1 Mic 1 Take series. With a soulful pop vibe and magnetic presence, Feliz’s unique talents and genuine heart are both quickly evident in the songs he crafts and the ways in which he shares them.
